The purpose of the UN/CEFACT Forum International Trade & Business
Processes Group 18(TBG18) is to develop and maintain
Business Process Models and the Business Transaction
Models, the semantics and the contents in a syntax
neutral way that they fulfil the requirements of the Trade, Industry
communities and Utilities within the framework of the
UN/CEFACT Forum. Agricultural sector includes:
- Provisioning
- Agricultural
Business management
- Agro equipment/Collection
- Logistics-Storage
- Ground Analysis
- Analysis
of milk
- Harmonization
of the codes of the goods and the technical data
: Cereals, vegetable-oil plant, Seed-beets, Milk,
animal Feeding
- Traceability
of the data : field crops, Cereals/animal Feeding,
Breeding
Conference on Agricultural Policy Implementation
and Geo-Information sciences (CAPIGI)
3 - 4 October 2005 - WAGENINGEN, the Netherlands
This conference is focused towards the possibilities
from emerging GI technologies for agricultural policy
implementation in Europe. We welcome participants from
government, research, technology and solution providers
to share experiences and application of geo-information
sciences.

November 15th and 16th, 2005 - Firenze (Italy)
The Workshop on Ambient Intelligence
for Food Quality and Safety will be held in Firenze
(Italy) on November 15th and 16th, 2005. This is
an open event that aims at the dissemination of the
capabilities of the Information Technologies in the
Agrofood field. On this particular occasion the event
will be focused on the fruit and wine sectors. General
aspects of the other application fields of the project
and invited presentations of other relevant initiatives
of the same area of interest are also programmed.
GoodFood (Food Safety and Quality Monitoring with
Microsystems) is an Integrated Project funded by
the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme
within the Information Society Technologies Priority,
involving 29 partners from 10 European countries.
