After 14 months of successful work, the GTIS-CAP project
is nearing its end.
Nearly all the work
packages are finished according
to the planned schedule and will culminate in numerous
reports that will be soon publicly disseminated.
On 9th November 2005, the results of the
GTIS-CAP project were successfully presented in Paris
to 30 major actors of the French and Belgium agricultural
sector (both public and private). The main objective
of this intermediary presentation was to assess feedback from potential
users of GTIS-CAP, as well as from future data providers
and organisations who may be in charge of the implementation
of the system.
Currently, the 7 partners of the
GTIS-CAP consortium are preparing the final review that
will be held with DG AGRI in Brussels on
13th January 2006. This meeting will lead to a final
set of recommendations.
The final report of the project will be published on
januari 2006.
